Five ways to tell if your trade show exhibit needs revamping

At a trade show, the displays are what first catch the eye. Great trade show exhibits will stick out and hopefully draw customers your way. If you’ve been using the same old display for years, it may be time to make a few improvements or even replace it completely. Here are 5 ways to tell if the season of change is upon your exhibit:

#1.The Exhibit is Hard to Put Up and Take Down

Nobody likes a struggle, and if you’re constantly wrestling with your display, more than likely you will end up damaging part of it. The display should be easy to move around and set up or dismantle. Also, keep an eye on your connections and replace any loose or damaged ones that may turn up. Keeping a log as you set up and break down the unit will help you remember the condition of your display in between shows.

#2.The Booth is Starting to Show its Age

Dirt and general wear and tear can take away from the attractiveness of your exhibit. Taking a critical look at the over-all appearance of your booth will help you decide if it’s time for a change. Also, taking notes when you get a new exhibit will help you notice when things are becoming worn or faded after time passes.

#3.The Grass is Looking Greener at Your Neighbor’s Exhibit

If you look around the trade show and it seems everyone else’s booth has certain features you lack, then it may be time to upgrade parts or all of your display depending on what you want and can afford.

#4.The Exhibit is Falling Apart, Literally

If the actual structure of your booth is falling apart, then for safety reasons it should be replaced. Check your display every time you set it up for cracks and other damage. Trade show exhibit storage can be difficult when the exhibit is falling apart.

#5.Your Exhibit is Made of Outdated Materials

If your booth is made out of materials that are no longer manufactured, you may want to replace it due to safety precautions and durability issues.
